Terms of Service

Effective: January 1, 2026

The short version

Be kind, don't break the law, don't ruin other people's fun. You own what you make and we host it for you. We can remove anything that hurts other players or the platform. Real money (VoxUs purchases) goes through Stripe — those are non-refundable except where law requires.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By signing up for Voxa or playing on a Voxa world, you agree to these rules. If you don't agree, that's fine — you just can't use the service.

2. Who can use Voxa

Anyone, with two notes:

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe. We hash passwords so even we can't read them, but if someone learns yours they can use your account. Use a long, unique password, and don't share it with anyone.

One account per person. Multiple accounts used to dodge bans or rules count as a single account for enforcement.

4. What you can make and post

You can build worlds, upload avatar items, publish gamepasses, post comments, chat, and DM friends. You keep ownership of everything you create. To make Voxa actually work, you give Voxa a non-exclusive license to host, display, and stream your content while your account is active. If you delete content or your account, that license ends within a reasonable processing window.

5. Rules of the platform

These apply to worlds, uploads, gamepasses, scripts, comments, chat, voice, and your profile. We enforce them with warnings, removals, account suspensions, and bans depending on severity.

Allowed YES

Building creative worlds

Obbies, RPGs, hangouts, tycoons — make whatever you want.

Talking with friends

Chat, comments, DMs, voice — be respectful.

Selling gamepasses

Charge VoxUs for features inside your worlds. Be honest about what they do.

Original uploads

Art, models, music, and effects you made or have permission to use.

Constructive feedback

"This obby is too hard" is fine. Targeted insults aren't.

Reporting bad stuff

Use the Report button on anything that breaks rules. We read it.

Not allowed NO

Harassment or hate

Bullying, slurs, threats, or anything attacking someone for who they are.

Sexual content

Voxa is open to minors. Anything sexual is removed and may end your account.

Sharing personal info

Don't share your or anyone else's real name, address, school, phone, or face.

Predatory behavior

Trying to contact, befriend, or move minors off-platform is reported to authorities.

Copying others' work

Don't upload art, music, or models that aren't yours.

Cheats / exploits

Don't crash worlds, spam APIs, dupe VoxUs, or bypass moderation.

Real-money trades outside Voxa

VoxUs is bought through Stripe only. Trading VoxUs or accounts for real money outside that flow is banned.

Impersonation

Don't pretend to be Voxa staff, another player, or a real-world person.

6. Moderation

We use an automated AI moderator (currently Groq + Llama 3.3) plus a small word-list filter on chat, comments, DMs, world names, and asset names. If something is flagged, it's either censored to # characters or blocked outright. We may also review reports manually.

We can remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion when something breaks these rules or hurts the platform. We'll try to explain why when we can.

7. Voice chat

Voice chat is push-to-talk only, peer-to-peer between nearby players in the same world, and not recorded on our servers. Under-13s have voice off by default. Even though we don't record voice, the same rules apply — harassment / sexual content / personal info / predatory behavior in voice will end accounts if we receive credible reports.

8. VoxUs + gamepasses + payments

9. Suspension / termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, repeatedly receive valid reports, or cause harm to the platform. If we terminate your account, you'll lose access to your worlds and unsold VoxUs.

10. We aren't responsible for everything

Voxa is provided "as-is." We do our best to keep it secure and working, but we can't guarantee zero downtime, zero bugs, or that nothing bad will ever happen. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxa isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the service. None of this affects rights you have as a consumer in your country.

11. Disputes

If you have a problem, talk to us first — email hello@voxagames.net. We'd rather fix things than fight about them. If a formal dispute happens, these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Voxa is operated.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change anything important, we'll post a notice on the site and update the "Effective" date above. Continuing to use Voxa after a change means you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can delete your account.
